Der Konzertpianist und Klavierpädagoge Marc Lohse absolvierte den Bachelor of Music an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim bei Ok-Hi Lee und Prof. Rudolf Meister. Anschließend studierte er an der Manhattan School of Music in New York bei Prof. Dr. Inesa Sinkevych und schloss den Master im Mai 2024 mit Auszeichnung ab. Hierbei wurde er durch Stipendien der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und der Manhattan School finanziell unterstützt. Derzeit befindet er sich für Zusatzstudien wieder in Mannheim.
Weitere wichtige musikalische Impulse und Inspiration erhielt er in Liedgestaltung bei Prof. Axel Bauni (Berlin) und Musiktheorie bei Prof. Dr. Reiko Füting (New York).

Als Solist und Ensemblepartner gewann Marc zahlreiche nationale und internationale

Wettbewerbe, so ist er u. a. viermaliger Bundespreisträger bei Jugend-Musiziert und gewann im Jahr 2023 die Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition in New York, sowie den Solistenwettbewerb der Talent Summer Courses in Brescia. Weiterhin spielte er Aufnahmen für die Radiosender Deutschlandfunk Kultur und SWR2 ein. Im Mai 2022 gab er sein Debüt bei den Schwetzinger SWR Festspielen. 2016 zeichnete ihn die Pfälzische Musikgesellschaft mit dem Bruno-Herrmann-Preis aus.

Neben dem Musizieren ist das Unterrichten seine große Leidenschaft. Während des

Auslandsstudiums war Marc Lehrkraft am Bronx Conservatory of Music. Aktuell unterrichtet er an der Städtischen Musikschule Frankenthal.
Neben dem Klavier spielt er außerdem Violine und Orgel.

Concert pianist and educator Marc Lohse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano with focus on Performance and Pedagogy from the State University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, where he studied with Prof. Rudolf Meister and Ok-Hi Lee. Hereafter, he completed the Master of Music in Classical Piano at the Manhattan School of Music in New York with highest honors under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Inesa Sinkevych.

Formative were his additional studies in Lied with Prof. Axel Bauni from the Berlin University of the Arts and in music theory with Prof. Dr. Reiko Füting in New York.

A scholarship holder of the German Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, Marc has won  numerous prizes in national and international competitions. He's a laureate of the 2023 Lillian-Fuchs-Chamber-Competition in New York and won the Concerto Competition of the Talent Summer Courses in Brescia, Italy. Both as a soloist and ensemble member, Marc made recordings for the German radio stations Deutschlandfunk Kultur and SWR (Southwest Broadcasting) and has given concerts across Europe. Festival performances include the International Goslar Piano Festival, Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele, Kammermusikfestival Heidelberg and Hirschberger Liedfest, among others.

As an educator, Marc enjoys passing on his love for music to students of various ages and backgrounds. After having taught at the Bronx Conservatoy of Music, he currently serves as faculty at the municipal conservatory in Frankenthal.
In addition to piano he also plays the violin and the organ.
